Here is a breakdown of TQS discount type:

Ÿ   A: TQS=% discount, if TQS is 70, the discount rate is 70% off;

Ÿ   B: TQS = 1/2%, if TQS is 70, the discount rate is 70/2=35% off.

What is a “Total Quality Score”?

Each Merchant on EatForCharity earns points towards their Real-Time Merchant Score. This score lets us know how well you manage your orders. It does not count how many orders you manage or how much money you make. Your Merchant score is then combined with other factors relating to your promotions to determine your Total Quality Score (TQS). Merchants with low quality scores may be restricted from some types of additional advertising and will be offered additional training to help increase their scores.

The Merchant Scores are calculated based on the following activity over the last 30 days:

·       Reviews:

o   Less than 2.5 stars: 0 points

o   2.5-4 stars: points = average review score over last 30 days

o   4+ stars: points = average review score over last 30 days X 2

·       PERCENTAGE of Statuses update on time, 50% = 50 scores (if EFC driver used then delivery status is not included)

·       Top 10 most popular merchants get points, 10points for 1st place, 1 point for 10th place.

·       Merchants of top 10 best-selling items get same as above points for each item.

·       Late order (15 minutes+, calculated using "Call Driver" time), -10 points

·       Order not fulfilled correctly, -15 points

·       Order Declined, -15 points (If Order is “Cancelled”, no points are deducted)

·       Item Cancelled, -5 points

NOTE: Merchant Points will be recorded for tracking at 9am on the 1st day of each month; however, they can be seen in real-time at any time via the DC.

In addition to the Merchant Score, points can also be gained by providing good looking content (Content Score), and by providing content that customers will really want (Popularity Score and Discount Score).

The Content Score is based on a scale of 1 to 10 with ten points being awarded to those that not only provide all the necessary content in a ready-to-publish format, but that also ensure all that content is high quality. One point is awarded to those whose content does not meet quality standards and needs to be replaced. Zero points provided to those who are unable to provide any content.

The Popularity Score is determined by EFC staff based on our consumer purchasing habits. This is an arbitrary number between 1 and 10, made on and item by item basis. Any determination may be appealed with further evidence, if necessary.

The Discount Score adds whatever percentage discount you offer to your Total Quality Score. So, if you offer 25% off in your promotion, you’ll receive an additional 25 points to your Total Quality Score.

The combination of your Merchant Score, Content Score, Popularity Score, and Discount Score, is your TQS that can be used to get various discounts on the additional marketing options listed above. Merchants with less than 0 Merchant Score points will be provided customer service support to help staff learn to increase their score before marketing support is provided.
